How to administer Lacrifill®?

Lacrifill® comes in a pre-filled syringe with 0.6ml of gel, containing enough gel to fully fill both inferior canaliculi of a single patient¹
Lacrifill® can be administered by healthcare professionals such as ophthalmologists and optometrists in a standard practice setting¹
Lacrifill®’s administration relies on 3 key steps:

Attach and secure cannula

Upward priming with 0.1 ml of gel

Deliver 0.2 mL of gel into lower canaliculus

Resecure the cannula and repeat priming and delivery for the second eye
